My initial career choices were far from being an arborist. I started my working life in marketing, I have a degree in design and felt I would waste it if I didn't pursue it as a career.
Being a self-confessed outdoor enthusiast working outside and climbing trees was just a pipe dream. In my Mid 20's I was tired of sitting at a desk and the corporate world, I decided to leave the office life behind and I started working with tree surgery and garden maintenance firms around Wiltshire and Bath and loved it.
At the age of 28 I became a City & Guilds qualified tree surgeon and to mark this event I named my business after it.
